縮寫法(Acronym)

縮寫法是將相關詞句的第一個字母組合成的一個新字幫助記憶。

1Write the facts you need to remember.
2首字母Underline the first letter of each fact. If there is more than one word in a fact, underline the first letter of only the first word in the fact.
3將相關詞句的第一個字母組合成的一個新字。

例：

HOMES

the names of the five Great Lakes：

Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior.
